Chungmuro Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 3 and Line 4.
Both the Line 3 and 4 stations are located in Chungmuro-4-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul.
This station is named after a nearby road with the same name, in honor of the great Chosun general Yi Sunsin, who was also called by the title of Chungmugong.

In fact, chungmuro is considered the best term for indicating "Korean movies".[1] Going out entrace to rear entrace of Dongguk University, you can see Daehan cinema(대한극장). Chungmuro Film Festival in Seoul firstly held around Daehan cinema.

Namsangol Korean traditional village is located near Chungmuro station. It contatins lots of information concerning Korean architecture and artistic crafts. Mainly 5 traditional Hanok(한옥) whcih means Korean house can be seen here.[2] Paris Hilton visited Namsangol Korean village in November 8th, 2007. She also came out Korean variety program Infinite Challenge(무한도전).
